When the rumour spread among the fans that Finnish band The Rasmus was visiting Frida magazine, the phone lines were glowing. The cute and carismatic singer Lauri laughed with eyeliner-decorated eyes and was put in our examining chair.
Q: Do you live like a rock star - sex, drugs and rock and roll?
A: I do! But this band is split in two parts, where one part goes to bed early and are faithful to their girlfriends back home. Us single guys party all night long and try not to wake up the boring part of the band.. but it's good that we're not all like that.. that means more girls for the rest uf us!
Q: Do you have a special fan that always turns up?
A: Yes, there's a small group of five girls that follow us absolutely everywhere. They're 19 and have taken up a loan to be able to afford to travel around the world. We just call them "The certain ones". We used to have a plant in our tour bus earlier that was starting to not look so good. We've now given it to them instead, and they are much better at taking care of it. I think they're hoping to marry one of us if they're just eager enough, ha ha!
Q: Does it bother the other band members that you're the favorite among girls?
A: I don't think that's a problem for us. But there was this girl who started hanging with one of the crew members and later was running after me instead. That didn't make the other guy too happy. But usually there aren't any problems, those in the band who want to meet girls have no problems doing so.
Q: Since you're Finnish, do you like making out in the sauna?
A: No, I don't like saunas at all. Most Finns do, but I don't.
Q: What type of girl will you fall in love with this summer?
A: I will be at a couple of the Swedish festivals, and my tip would be to just be a beautiful girl in jeans and a t-shirt, and I'll fancy you!
