Last week the Rasmus played the last show of their Germany-tour in Palladium in Köln. They played many songs from their album Dead Letters, and the audience loved it.
Eero: "This tour has been great, we have played 12 gigs in Germany and the neighbouring countries and they have all been sold out. The audience really seems to like our music and we're having great fun!"
Lauri: "We never expected this much you know, this hall will take 4000 people. We don't even play for that many in Finland so it's really kind of unexpected for us."
In this tour, Lauri, Eero, Aki & Pauli have put the alcohol aside for once. They want to concentrate on the music, and give the audience all they have. But what exactly did they think of going on tour without drinking?
Lauri: "It's not very Finnish not to drink alcohol, but I think it was a good choise cause you play better the next night. Alcohol is always available after the show when you go out but..."
"It's not very rock'n'roll but...but like I told you - we take it all back tonight!!"
When the Rasmus gets famous in Germany it's Lauri who feels most of the pressure. The 24-yearold stands out and is the one who's mostly photographed and who has to give most interviews. But the rest of the band has no problems with that.
Eero: "Usually in the papers it's Lauri on the cover, and that is kind of natural. In the media the singer can explain about the lyrics and what the songs means.
